With the launch of our new Mocktail Elixir, you're going to want this spooky cool list for some fun, fall inspo. Add a little razzle dazzle with some Hocus Pocus Punch or enjoy a Candy Corn Sipper. Whether your Team Candy Corn or not, I'm sure there is a mocktail in our list that you're sure to love.
Smoking Halloween Mocktail
Ingredients:
2 cups apple cider or apple juice
2 cups orange juice
½ teaspoon orange zest
1 cup pumpkin puree
2 tablespoons simple syrup
2 tablespoons mulling spices
Dry ice
Spooky Halloween mocktails are the perfect time to break out dry ice. Top this spooky drink from This Vivacious Lifewith gummy worms or eyeballs to play up the scare factor for the whole family or a cinnamon stick for a more chill vibe.
The fruit juices will even give you an unexpected dose of vitamin C. (That’s not very scary, now is it?)
Candy Corn Sipper
Ingredients:
White: Pineapple coconut juice
Orange: Orange juice, mango juice, citrus fruit punch
Yellow: Vitamin Water, lemonade, pineapple juice
Crushed ice
This layered mocktail from Boulder Locavore is meant to look like candy corn, but feel free to play with the layers if you’re not able to find certain ingredients. It’ll still taste yummy with pineapple juice vs. pineapple coconut juice, for example. You just won’t have that distinct white layer.
Hocus Pocus Punch
Ingredients:
6 cups apple cider
2 cups cranberry juice
24 ounces orange seltzer (2 cans)
¼ cup cherry juice
2 sliced oranges
2 sliced apples
⅓ cup maraschino cherries
1 cup ginger ale or ginger beer
Ice cubes
If you’re feeling a little spooked to mix your first mocktail, this festive drink from How Sweet Eats couldn’t be easier and takes very little total time! Stir everything up in a large punch bowl and garnish with orange slices, apples, and cherries.
Make it the ultimate Halloween punch recipe by serving it in a pumpkin-shaped bowl.
Pumpkin Pie Punch
Ingredients:
½ cup canned coconut milk
½ cup plant milk of choice
¼ cup pumpkin puree
1 tablespoon apple butter
¼ teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
3 tablespoons agave or maple syrup
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 Golden Oreos (or cookie of choice)
Whipped cream
This pumpkin-spiced mocktail from Plantifully Based is anything but basic. Invite your friends over to watch the trick-or-treating and treat them to this super pretty Halloween drink recipe. Make this one completely vegan with non-dairy whipping cream to top it off.
Homemade Butter "Beer"
Ingredients:
1 cup heavy cream
3 tablespoons powdered sugar
2 liters chilled cream soda
5 tablespoons butterscotch (plus more for topping)
2 tablespoons butter extract
This version of the Harry Potter classic from Play Party Plan is the perfect kid-friendly Halloween drink. (But let’s be honest, we adults make up most of the fan base by this point!) Just go easy on this one, as it’s definitely a dessert beverage.
If you’re dealing with a warmer October than usual, semi-freeze the cream soda first to turn it into a slushie.
